Geno Guerra, PhD

Postdoctoral Scholar

I am a statistician trained in population genetics and phylogenetics with a general interest in evolutionary biology.  I joined the Francis lab as a postdoc to broaden my knowledge in computational biology, as well as to pursue more clinically meaningful work. During my postdoc I aim to employ/develop both classical statistics and modern machine learning methods to uncover meaningful genetic factors in the development of disease and response to treatment/survival.
